To join the Lenovo team for the summer internship program, which will begin on July 1st, Lenovo is searching for 20 students. The Python Internship at Lenovo will be a three-month internship that will give the interns the opportunity to practice the day-to-day duties of a software engineer while working on cutting-edge technology projects that foster innovation and creativity. Also, students will gain first-hand experience with the software development process over the course of the summer and will receive training, direction, and mentoring from Lenovo’s local and international professionals.

Students that take part in the summer internship program may be given the choice between a year-long internship or a full-time graduate post.

Preferred Qualifications/requirements

  • Strong interest in learning about DevOps
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Golang)
  • Knowledge of Linux environments is a plus
  • Knowledge of code control system is a plus, GIT is preferred
  • Problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking
  • Good English speaking and writing skills

  • Learn about the DevOps concept in detail.
  • Participate in a DevOps project that is based on actual demands
  • Learn to use a variety of tools and technologies.
  • Work along with your coworkers to accomplish the project’s goal.
  • Improve your presenting abilities so you can deliver your project at the end of your internship.

Selection process

A brief phone interview will be conducted with the selected CVs. Applicants who pass the phone interview will receive an invitation to an assessment center day at the Lenovo office. They will participate in a number of activities, get to know the Lenovo Team and the Technical Mentor, and attend the final interviews during that event.
