Elon Musk's xAI Raises $6 Billion, Valued at $45 Billion

Elon Musk‘s AI venture, xAI, has raised a staggering $6 billion in a successful Series C financing round, propelling its valuation to an impressive $45 billion. The funding comes from an elite group of investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Blackrock, Fidelity, Lightspeed, MGX, Morgan Stanley, OIA, QIA, Sequoia Capital, Valor Equity Partners, and Vy Capital, with tech giants Nvidia and AMD also participating.

This latest tranche saw shares surge by 25%, reflecting growing confidence in xAI’s innovative AI solutions. The financing round follows the company’s strategic acquisitions and partnerships, such as Musk’s earlier $12 billion Twitter acquisition, aligning xAI’s vision of advancing artificial intelligence across industries.

Financial Times reports that xAI’s massive fundraising effort highlights the accelerating race among AI companies to secure capital, with xAI positioned as a frontrunner in reshaping the AI landscape.
