React is a JavaScript library that runs on the NodeJs engine. React is a frontend library created by Facebook and made public in 2013. This was created for some private project inside Facebook but later made open source so anyone can contribute to React. React offers much better flexibility than its other counterparts like Angular which is a JavaScript framework for frontend.
React offers many third-party libraries for almost everything and you can integrate other JavaScript libraries and frameworks with React like jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
